Purchased at Vintage Cellars in Randwick, NSW, in November 2024 and drunk the same day.
L: The beer is deep burgundy in the glass. There's a small, dirty, off-white head and plenty of small bubbles careening up the glass.
S: The nose is all the spices: cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper.
T: Taste is autumn-baked apple pie in a glass. There's cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg, baked apples, cream and a peppery, sharp finish. Delicious!
M: The mouthfeel is smooth and mellow. Carbonation is minimal, and it swallows almost like still water. All in all, the body perfectly matches the flavour profile.
O: What an excellent beer to find at a random shop on a warm spring day's walk. It's such an out-of-the-ordinary beer that is well worth a try if you stumble upon it.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
