Well, after many years of having Revision being the closest brewery to me (about 90 miles away), this place opened up and is now the new champion of closeness (55 miles). Had a football game to coach in Fernley, decided to have a few before the game.
$8 pints in rural Nevada, damn, already not hyped. Pours a yellow color. 1/4" white head quickly disappears. Aroma had the fruit character (pear/apple) but lacked anything notable of beerness (hops, malt, yeast).
The taste, ok, I hate not giving a glowing review of a new business, but this just tastes like sweet sugary pear and apple. Nothing else. Its not bad, but its not what I look for. I'd call this a fruit/vegetable beer if it was up to me, but I'll honor their pale ale designation. Crazy part is, that isn't even the most out of style kind of beer I had that day, just wait until you read the czech lager review forthcoming. So I dunno, this beer tastes more like apple juice with some pear in it. I'd give it a more substantive review, but really, that is all there is to say about this one. Fruit beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
