So a hazy beer, but its clear? Is this that steamed hams episode? So yet another beer that day just absolutely struggling to achieve the very basic aspect of what makes a style designation.
Anyhoo, this would look good as a west coast ipa. Dark gold in color, good clarity, 1/3" white head. The aroma yet again is not hoppy. 4 beers, hops not a strong suit I would say.
Now the crime against humanity here is making something you call a hazy ipa that instead of a low bitterness hop experience, you get a nuttiness like you are drinking a nut brown ale. Substantial bitterness given the lack of hop taste. Absolutely nothing in terms of flaked wheat or rolled oats going on, another hallmark of the hazy ipa style. Like, I am straight up not having a good time as I struggle to get this one down. I'm clearly done with drinking beer for the rest of the night, the literal bad taste left in your mouth.
Everyone was real friendly, but good manners can't make up for bad beer. I believe this is their most popular which only denigrates Ferntucky even further.
