Appearance: Clear, bright yellow body with a thin, white head.
Smell: A simple nose, smelling lights of spicy hops and grain. Not altogether unexpected for a golden.
Taste: Light maltiness with a touch of grain and sweetness. Spicy, lightly earthy hops and bitterness. Finishes bittersweet.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-low carbonation.
Drinkability: Ah, golden ales... some hops, some malt, and some decent easy-drinking.

Pours hazy amber with a good white head.

Pours a completely clear gold color with a one-finger white head. The head dissipates quickly into a wispy layer of bubbles on top and a thin ring around the glass. Not very much in the lacing department.
Smells of noble hops and sweet malt. It smells sweeter as the beer warms.
Tastes better than it smells. Very sweet with a mildly bitter ending. The hops poke their head out every now and then but the malty flavor is the star of the show.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a good thickness for the style and the carbonation is just right.
Drinkability is good. This tastes better than it smells, and I could certainly have a few of these.
Overall this is tasty. The more beers I taste from Twain's the more I like them. They just keep getting better and better.

This comes out of the tap a lovely clear golden color with a fairly thick white head. Aroma is richly malty and has just a hint of fruit. Flavor is smooth and malty with some hop bitterness and an undertone of apple or pear. Texture is smooth and crisp, making this a singularly pleasant ale to drink.

This one pours a perfectly clear gold with a creamy head that laces nicely. The aroma tingles the sinuses with good peppery hops. The flavor starts off with dry straw malt and finishes with lingering bitterness. This is either a good dry pils or a very pils-like golden ale.
