A - Poured in a 13 oz tulip glass. Poured jet black with no light showing through forming a frothy brown head that fell slowly and left impressive lacing down the entire glass as it was consumed
S - Big coffee smell up front along with a hint of baker's chocolate and roasted malts..no discernable hop smell at all
T - The taste was full on coffee and a slight bitter from the roasted malts and then cut with at the end with a bite of hops...pretty darn good
M - This was thick with a medium amount of carbonation...a little oily, it coats the mouth as it is swallowed
D - Not bad at all...very comparable to several other stouts I've encoutered..the ABV is almost to low to call it Imperial but overall pretty good
