On tap at twains.
Must have bee resurected recently. Pours a dark dark brown. Just of touch of light tan head. Looks pretty solid. Smells gingerbready! Very nice Ginger and clove aroma! Smells really nice. Tastes pretty good too. Lots of spice and gramcrackery flavours. The base beer is lacking but the spices are really nice. Well carbonated. A bit unclean but overall pretty darn decent

Appearance: Clear, medium brown body topped by a small, white head.

Smell: Aromatic smell of gingersnap cookie batter with a tiny bit of caramel. It's literally burdened with a generous dose of spices.

Taste: Flash of lightly sweet pale malts with a touch of grain before you're tongue is knocked down by the punchy spice character. Again, it's very much like a gingersnap cookie. Ground ginger powder, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar. The flavor remains cookie-ish and spicy until the very end.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Drinkability: While it does make for one tasty pint, two might be overdoing it. A little goes a long way.

Pours a slightly hazy dark brown color with a one-finger off-white head. The head dissipates pretty quickly into a patchy layer of bubbles on top and a medium-sized ring around the glass. There's not much lacing.

Smells very good. Lots of spices - nutmeg and cinnamon from what I can tell - and a good bready malt.

Tastes similar to how it smells. Lots of spices up front, mostly sweet cinnamon with a bit of spice to it. There's a good malt backbone with a sweet ending that sticks around for a bit.

Mouthfeel is good. It's just a bit thin for all the flavor present, but the carbonation is good.

Drinkability is good. The flavors are big but not overpowering.

Overall this is definitely worth a shot. Expect what the moniker tells you to.
