Pours a clear brown color with a one-finger tan head. The head dissipates into a patchy layer of bubbles on top and a medium-sized ring around the glass. Lacing is decent.
Smells of caramel malt with a faint metallic aroma.
Tastes similar to how it tastes. Fairly smooth caramel malt with a hint of toasted malt. The metallic taste is still there but in even smaller amounts than the smell. There's a decent amount of bitterness at the end of the sip.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a good thickness and the carbonation is at a good level. This goes down pretty smoothly.
Drinkability is good. This went down easily and I could have a few more at the low ABV.
Overall this seems very similar to their recent Imperial Brown, just toned down a bit. Definitely worth a shot.
