Ordered one of these while watching the Super Bowl.
Pours a clear brown color with a half-finger tan head. The head dissipates into a wispy layer on top leaving light lacing.
Smells of toasted malts with hints of toffee and a husky grain backbone.
Tastes good. Lightly toasted malts are joined by toffee flavors. Maybe this is more of an English Brown, but the Inauguration Brown has got to be American.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a good thickness with solid carbonation that make this go down smoothly.
Drinkability is the best thing about this beer in my opinion. It drinks more like a 4.5-5% ABV range.
Overall this is a tasty beer, but middle of the pack for Twain's, there's just nothing that really stands out.
