An apparently new offering from Twain's. Cask version wet-hopped with locally grown hops.
Pours a very nice deep copper color with a slowly cascading off-white head. Once the head settles the beer is surprisingly clear. The head remains as a medium-sized layer on top leaving thick lacing.
Smells of citrus and floral hops with good amounts of pale malt aromas in the background.
Tastes similar to how it smells. The hops aren't quite as intense as the smell would intimate. Slightly grainy pale malt flavors up front are joined by good amounts of citrus hop flavors that carry through to a solidly bitter ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It has a solid thickness with soft carbonation.
Drinkability is very good. I finished my glass rather quickly and could easily have a few more.
Overall I would say this is the best IPA/APA I've had at Twain's to date. Keep up the good work boys.
