Appearance: Lightly hazed, copper-esque body with a near white, modestly-sized head.

Smell: Aromatic wafts of pine, spruce. Pronounced enough that, if somebody admitted it was some sort of additive, I would likely buy into that. Toasty pale malts, a little grainy.

Taste: Pale malts, with a slight toasted grain hint, and dosed with a bit of almond sugar. Initially, a touch of citrus juice, but, then, BAM. Straight up pine boughs. Moderate bitterness. Dry, bitter, and, still, quite piney finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Pine!

$5 for a 20z Pint. served in a pint glass.

a- orangey with a small amount of head, and leaves behind little lacing.

s- hops, citrus, and some sweetness. pretty average

t- though it may not smell fantastic, it tastes ridiculously good. one of the best and freshest tasting ipas i've ever had. it's really, really bitter (i'd say almost as bitter as Ruination at first), but balanced by a subtle maltiness and juiciness. a good amount of citrus and pine.

m- high level of carbonation and a medium-ish body. leaves the mouth soaked and then super dry (like hopslam) at the end, which just leaves you wanting more. very well balanced ipa.

o- this is an amazing beer at an awesome price. i'm hoping it's still there next time i go to twains.
