Ruby red with a white head, this Irish-style red ale is loaded with caramel and biscuit malt notes, with just enough bitterness to balance the sweetness and aid the dry finish.

12 ounce can, 12/12/23 stamped on the bottom of the can. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear reddish/brown color with about an inch or so light tan head that stuck around a little while. There's also a good amount of lacing. The brew smells like caramel, bready malt, and a bit of toffee. The taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some toasted malt and herbal hops. Does lean a bit sweeter tasting but not overwhelming at all. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one overall, wouldn't mind trying a fresher batch of this sometime!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little red pours a clear
brown tinged ruby red with a nice head of off white foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and sports some light lacing.
Nose of toasted malts, caramel, and light biscuit. Flavors
hit the mark with nicely placed notes of caramel, biscuit,
and toasted malts with nicely balanced herbal hops. Mouth
feel is medium light, smooth, light carbonation, and a
nice malt driven finish dashed with bittering hops.
Overall, a SOLID ale
Cheers
