On tap at Station Bar and Curio in Woodstock, NY.
This one pours a slightly dark-ish orange color, hazy, but not ridiculously so.
This smells like orange candy, sweet syrupy malt, and astringent, vegetal hop bitterness.
This is your garden variety low quality New England style IPA – I think this is a new brewery, and they clearly have some work to do. It’s malty, and both too sweet/syrupy and also too astringent on the finish. The bitterness is not clean, and just sorta vegetal.
This is too syrupy for the style, and just not all that drinkable.
Maybe this will be better in a few batches.
