This wheated version of a Barleywine was aged 9 months in Elijah Craig barrels. Notes of vanilla, graham cracker, caramel and oak blend into fruit esters and accentuate the sweetness of the wheat.

Draft at Southern Tail. Poured a slightly cloudy, dark amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of strong bourbon aroma, vanilla, oak, toffee and caramel. Sweet boozy taste with charred oak, vanilla, toffee and caramel.
