Refreshing and hoppy ale, yet with sufficient supporting malt to make the beer balanced. The traditional cascade hops will provide the hoppy and slightly bitter finish.

I believe this was the second beer I had from this brewery in Kimberly, Wisconsin. Pours a caramel like color, this is maltier than your average pale ale, more akin colorwise compared to SNPA so we've got a pretty one. 2/3" off white head.
The aroma hits the crystal malt pretty heavy. Bittering hops of Cascade like dimensions flow through the nose.
The taste again seems to feature the crystal malt and Cascade hop profile similar to SNPA but nowhere near as perfectly dialed in, and that's a tall task and huge shoes to fill to say the least. Caramel, grapefruit, bitter tree bark. Now the mouthfeel is slightly lighter than the appearance would make you think. That's a good thing.
I guess this is what people used to talk about when they say "balanced". Its pretty easy to drink and pretty simple in terms of its formulation. Its like a bulkier but less hoppy SNPA all day long.
Kimberlys always seem to be more promiscuous than your average woman.
