Tap at Noda
Pours a deep clear amber with a white lacing for a head.
Smells of light pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice.
Flavor is of spiced pumpkin pie with cinnamon, cloves, caramel, and a bit of ginger.
Medium body with a light carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Very enjoyable pumpkin ale, good flavor and body, definitely worth trying.

Draft at beer study into a Haw River Teku glass.
Pours a dark amber color with a very nice, appropriate head. The smell is of pumpkin and spices..but not much cloves or nutmeg as you may expect. Smell is also not huge. Taste is definitely big and boozy and has a lot of those similar pumpkin flavors and spices. Alcohol does shine through though. Higher side of medium bodied with mild carbonation.
Overall definitely a bigger beer than the original Gorgeous, and it has hurt the complexity and flavor of it in my opinion. Definitely prefer the original.

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a snifter, the beer is a deep, dark, amber-highlighted brown coloring, and no real head. Nose of pumpkin and booze, with a subtle spicing throughout. Flavors are pumpkin forward, with a solid booze character to follow. Nutmeg and cinnamon highlights, but mostly overpowered by the rich and boozy characteristics. Solid, smooth bodied, with a warmth in the spicy, rich aftertaste. Clean and smooth finish. This is a big beer, but it lacks some depth on the palate.
