16 ounce can, a little old dated at 12/20/2017. This is the #8 Amarillo Hop Experiment. Poured into lexan pint for outdoor enjoyment.
Upon cracking open I get a hop blast. Hopefully this means good things for this 4+ month old beer.
Pours a dingy yellow with fluffy white head. Great lacing down the glass. The nose is citrus, lemon and graininess. Taste is similar. More grapefruit and orange, grass, graininess. Slightly dull hop flavor which I can only assume is from the age. I won’t hold that against the beer, shoulda checked my dates.
Great medium body for a session type beer. The carbonation is spot on for me, better than most “session” ipas out there. Feels bigger than it is. Good beer, cool experiment.

Poured from a 16 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a pale golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is hops and citrus. The taste follows the nose.

Pale gold with a slightly effervescent body poured into a tulip glass, great looking webbed lacing. Smells of hops, citrus, pine, and some malt. Taste is similar to smell with mild hops, citrus, oranges, pine, but with a dry finish that lingers on the tongue. Refreshing and tasty brew.

Kind of a light gold beer with a pillowy white head that leaves bands of lacing behind. The aroma is full of citrus and pine. I get some grapefruit and pine and I also pick up some peach. The taste is crisp and clean with the peach and grapefruit being most noticeable. There is a nice light sweetness with some yeastiness that ends with a pleasing bitterness. This is a full flavored and somewhat light beer. Quite tasty.
