This week's NoDable is the seventh edition of our Woody and Wilcox Hop Experiment! It's a sessionable American ale with a balanced body, and it uses a different hop concept each month to be the primary accent of the beer. This month's hop is another classic. Centennial hops are known for being intense in piney and floral flavors, and they stand out on their own beautifully. It's 4.9% ABV and 40 IBU's. Come on down and give it a try!

A: Pours a clear pale golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a couple of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Just shy of moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit pith, pine/resin, and floral hops over the top of light aromas of grainy biscuit malts.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of grainy biscuit malts with a hint of grainy sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit pith, pine/resin, and floral hops which impart a slightly heavier than light amount of bitterness which lingers through the finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially lightly crisp with a slight thinness.
O: Easy to drink with low ABV and a lighter mouthfeel - has a bit of that session IPA thinness but not too bad. Nice hop flavors and aromas with a decent amount of bitterness.
