This unique beer is brewed as our twist on the Black is Beautiful project. This beer is based on a Pilsner but is darkened through roasted grains and grain extractions to give you a new take on a classic style. While the beer remains an approachable and crisp character, there are subtle roast elements from the dark grain extractions that add complexity to the beer. The base beer is hopped with Zuper Saazer and, to add additional bright and light floral aroma notes, it is dry-hopped with Loral. This is truly a unique beer that will have the flavor and balance of a traditional pilsner lager but nuance and appearance of a robust beer without the heavy, roasty malt character normally associated with beers as dark as it will be.
