L - poured out of a crowler. Dark, mildly translucent orange with an overarching crimson glow. Not much head, but very active carbonation, especially when poured vigorously. Loads of bubbles on the bottom of the glass, constantly nucleating their way to the surface. Almost looks like the beer is simmering.
S - apricot and stringy oranges. Lemon pith. A bit of peach in there as well, but overwhelmingly apricot, as one might expect.
T - puckeringly tart up front. Before the beer even hits my lips, you know this is going to be a sour one. Sharp and bitey, but quickly mellows into apricot puree. Guessing there's a fair amount of fruit in here. Some hay and lemony tartness with a fair amount of breadiness in the finish. Almost skunky, like a Bud Heavy might finish.
F - lively carbonation. Not overly so, something sours often struggle with. Somehow stays full and smooth for this ABV, but features some creeping bubbly that gets more exciting the more it lives in your mouth. Quite good and perhaps the highlight of this beer.
O - one dimensional, but that's what it was likely going for. Lots of apricot with punchy, yet restrained tartness that makes it drinkable for a sour.
