Had this on 2025-07-19 from a 12oz canned on 2025-04-16
L - Very hazy straw-gold with a short white head and little lace
S - Pineapple, guava, lime, herbal
T - Sourdough bread crust, guava, barely ripe pineapple, herbal, aspirin bitterness.
F - Medium body and carbonation. Nice, chewy feel at first then refreshing.
O - A pleasant, easily quaffable brew. I enjoyed it but not as much as some of their other brews.

Super tasty smooth beer. Had this on tap at The Goodyear House in NODA. Beautiful hazy with nice head. Smell was bursting with citrus and taste matched. So easy to drink. I would love to have more.

Poured from tap at Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina. Medium bodied, hazy IPA. Delicious, with distinct grapefruit flavor and subtle pineapple notes. Wonderful execution of a NE IPA; not overly-hopped like some IPAs.

On tap in a pint glass.
Washed out pale wheat look, hazed and cloudy. Dense 2F white cap and heavy patio screen lacing.
There’s a bit of tropical fruit in the aroma but orange citrus leads the way…
…right into the flavor, strong orange citrus.
Chewy and very juicy medium body. Pleasant citrus bite but no malt feel at all.
All fruit and juice in a good manner. Malt is absent but good overall.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy golden color with an impressive two finger head; strong retention and a few shards of lace
Smell: Pineapple and melon tones; very fruity
Taste: Pineapple forward with melon flavors underneath; low bitterness
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Pleasant and refreshing but on the juicy side with limited bitterness

CANNED: 06/22/23. Poured into a BA 25th Ann teku — hell yeah!!
A: Opaque pineapple yellow with 2-finger frothy off-white head with good retention and very sticky, thick lacing. Unsightly floaties — not great finishing NoDa.
S: Intense tropical, melon, and grapefruit-orange citrus hop nose with moderate fruity esters. Slightly off-putting rotting fruit/gourd, sulfur hovers throughout the aroma.
T: Flavor is decent for the hazy IPA style with strong green melon and orange-white grapefruit citrus. Lighter tropical notes than in the aroma with some pineapple. Some of that same gourd/pumpkin character carries over into the flavors and aftertaste. Esters are moderately fruity, Bitterness is low.
M: Excellent soft/plush mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and slightly sticky finish.
O: Decently solid take on hazy IPA/pale ale with good flavor but weird gourd aspect in the aroma leads to a downgrade for me.
