Part of the Nodable series, on tap at NoDa.
Dark brown pour, thin layer of off white. Was expecting just a bit darker to be honest.
Aroma, Roasty grainy malt. Chocolates, caramel.
Taste, A nice roast malt, chocolate, dark chocolate. A nice earthy/peaty grain quality. Cocoa, dry roast finishe, coffee pops up here also.
Fills the mouth nicely, like most rye brews seem to. Not quite creamy medium body. Drinks pretty well, kind of dry, but very well done.
