A concept that you may have heard of; a West Coast Pilsner, a pilsner that has been dry hopped in the style of a West Coast IPA... well this is a dark version of it. This brew was Triple Decocted and then utilized Carafa malt in the sparge and lauter to make the color dark without imparting a lot of roast. The beer is traditionally hopped with European hops during the boil but is then hopped in Whirlpool with Chinook and Mosaic hops. It's then Dry Hopped with Simcoe, Chinook and Mosiac
