Say "salud" to summer with this mojito-inspired witbier. An extremely sessionable beer, it tastes as if mint leaves right out of the garden were muddled in the can and the rim was rubbed with fresh lime zest. Exquisitely light but still boasting a tenacious head, see why it's been called vacation in a glass.

I'm trying this at my Bestie's in Charlotte. It poured a clear yellow with white head that is not leaving leaving any lace. The scent had hints of Belgian yeast and lime. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

Did not enjoy this - in my book, this was a failed experiment.

Nice looking pale gold beer with a white head that leaves a few specks of lacing. The aroma is a bit strange with cloves and spices from a Belgian beer fighting with mint and lime. The taste is also a little muddled between a sweet Belgian clove tasting beer and a lot of lime and fresh mint. It is pleasantly sweet and has a good body but I am not quite sure all the flavors cooperate in this one. It isn't a bad beer by any means but not one I'll seek out again.

A: Pours a clear pale golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint lemon yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall fizzy foamy bright white head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of lime citrus, lemon citrus, and herbal/mint over light aromas of wheat malts. Light hints of Belgian yeast.

T: Upfront there is a light flavor of wheat malts with a light flavors of Belgian yeast. That is followed by moderate flavors of lime citrus and lemon citrus and light to moderate flavors of herbal mint. Minimal amounts of bitterness in the finish which does not linger.

M: Light bodied with slightly more than moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: Light and refreshing, perfect for a really hot summer day. Enjoyable and easy to drink with well hidden alcohol.

Look: It pours light gold with a white head.

Smell: It has aromas that are dominated by lime, mint, and pepper. There is also a bit of lemon as well.

Flavors: It has flavors of lime, mine, pepper, and bread. There are also some spicy elements to it as well.

Feel: It has a light body and a mild aftertaste.

Overall, if is very much like a combined mojito with a wittier that provides for an interesting combination.

Thanks Kegatron for gifting me with a pounder can of this. Poured into a snifter, the brew appears a clear pale yellow color with a white head.

The aroma is lemony and zesty feeling. Somewhat familiar almost like spree candy. The taste is lemony with zest and a little bit of sulfur and wheat grain.

This is a light bodied brew with modest carbonation. Overall easy drinking and interesting but at times it feels watered down and very mild. It serves a purpose though as many could be tossed back in the summer heat.

I've never had a Bud Lite Lime but I can't imagine that it doesn't cover this space off at a lower price point. I won't have this again. Lite beer with lime taste - 'nuff said.
