Ramble On Red - Fruit-Aged

Had this one at the source! Aged with raisins and dates! Served from tap into a NoDa sampler shaker. Poured yellow-orange with a half finger white head that subsided to a minimal amount quickly. Maintained excellent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, bread, earth, earth hop, pine, pine hop, and subtle citrus. The flavor was of sweet malt, pine, pine hop, spice, spicy hop, and citrus hop. It had a light feel on the palate with medium-high carbonation. Overall this was a fairly good brew. This one was actually quite solid if I am honest. The fruit really didn’t add much to this one that I picked up on, but it managed to do quite well without it if I’m honest. A really nice balance of flavors going on here with a touch of spiciness that kept you on your toes. Definitely worth trying if you get the chance to do so. Tick.
