16 oz can with an October 2019 canning date stamp on the bottom.
Pours with a near black body with a weak head that quickly disappeared.
The aroma is weird and a bit unappealing, with light smoke, cooked peppers, dark roasted grains, hints of rubber and bandaids, and faint raspberry. The flavor is better and improved with warming, but has a disproportionate level of pepper flavors and is still disappointing.
Mouthfeel: Chili heat is medium-light.
Medium body and light carbonation.

I really think NoDa did this Stout right. You get a great, deep scent of chocolate with a hint of sweetness. The first sip has a sweet chocolate taste with some earthy tones and slight hint of raspberry. The habanero warms the back of your throat going down, providing what I thought was the perfect amount of heat to make a nice flavor contrast. Overall, really one of my favorite beers and probably the best use of peppers I've had in a beer.

A little too much heat in the finish but initial taste is sweet and chocolatey.

Pours a ruby tinged mahogany with 3 fingers of tan head. Great lacing & head retention
S: Smokeyness, hot pepper, raspberries.
T: Pepper heat, raspberry, a little roastyness & a little chocolate up front, plus a little dryness. More pepper heat, but fairly restrained, a little cocoa & raspberry along with dryness as this warms, just a bit of roastyness too. Finishes with pepper heat, & a little raspberry & chocolate, plus roastyness
MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation that smooths out once warm, body thins out a touch as well
Interesting stout, was was hoping for more flavor, but well worth a try

Shared by M Howard last night, thanks for the hookup!
Dark inky black with an off white head that persists. Rich roasty chocolate with hints of caramel and a nondescript fruitiness. There is a lingering warming spice in the background that some other people said was too much but I enjoyed the hell out of this beer!
