Cloudy, light gold color. Good starting head but it diminishes to rim bubbles leaving no lace.
A bit of brewery floor aroma. Normally I'd struggle to like that smell, but here it's subtle enough to be appealing.
Thin and light, like a perfect summer beer. It starts off a bit grainy but the hop presence is strong enough to cut into it and provide enough complexity to keep it interesting. The finish is short except for some lingering pepper from the hop. Overall, more refreshing than remarkable.

L: Cloudy, yet translucent amber with a foamy white head. Retention is minimal, with no lacing.
S: Apple, pear, lemon, musty grains, biscuits, honey, grass.
T: Apple, pear, lemon, musty grains, biscuits, grass, beets, earth.
M: Medium, well-carbonated, oily, but still pretty crisp and refreshing.
O: My first Kellerbier. My first of the style, but I'm still impressed, as it is a refreshing lager packed with flavor.

Draft at Post! - Boise. A Keller version of their traditional Kolsch? No, a straight up a zwickel. Hazy golden pour capped with a short creamy head. Gentle aroma and taste favor the bready, grainy malt bill, nary a hop to be found. Smooth, velvety texture, really delicious, perfect on this warm summer day. This type of beer makes me miss Germany more and more.

On tap at The Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a clear straw yellow, with a small head, and just a little bit of lacing.
Smells pretty doughy, almost like sourdough covered with honey, with a small smattering of grassy hops.
This one really hit the spot- I love a good kellerbier in hot weather. It's got a light honey sweetness, and a wonderful doughy malt character, and some light grassy hop flavor. The yeast character brings out some pear and apple fruity flavors. It's all lightly dosed with flavor, but it's not boring at all. Super drinkable and compelling.
This is lighter bodied, with a normal level of carbonation for the style.
This is a really cool beer that I'm glad I got the chance to try.

Thanks to Aaron for this one!
Served in a 0,3l Sünner stange at Laschets.
Cloudy and golden orange, it glows in the light. Creamy foam caps off the small glass, rising above the rim momentarily. Slow rising carb trails visible around the edges of the foam. Second glass looked like brown soup.
Smooth malted grain and a light citrus aroma, yeasty and clean.
Taste is very refreshing, smooth and light with malt and yeast notes. Vaguely fruity yeast with apple and pear flavors, crisp and clean, almost a medium body due to the high level of unfiltered yeast. Creamy texture, very easy to drink. I'll be going back for more, and the next rounds on me.
2016: Exceptionally clean and fresh version of this on tap at Northdown, bumping up taste/smell to 4.25.
