Fresh start with little hops, easy drinkable. Beer is only little aromatic, that matches to the mild taste. Again little hops, later more bitter (which gets stronger). All in all a good one, Sünner startet a good Wiess with this one. Could be a little more grainy, though.

Sünner BioColonia is an organic, unfiltered beer. It seems to me like a hefeweizen fermented at lager temperatures but I'm not completely sure.
Appearance: Pale orange and cloudy with minimal head/lacing. Sediment is extremely thick, chunky and almost muddy.
Smell: Fresh grass reminiscent of a lager and a citric Hefe character.
Taste: Fresh malt sweetness with a citrus kick, slightly earthy yeast, a minimal funk, and subtle phenols. Hints of mineral/toffee character akin to an English pale come out when the brew warms. Finishes dry and amazingly crisp.
Mouthfeel: Light to moderate with a perfect low carbonation.
Drinkability: Exceptionally high and the taste is complex enough to make it enjoyable.
This is an unusual beer as it seems like a hybrid between a hefeweizen and a kölsch with a subtle English pale ale character, but it really is a brilliant session beer.

To shake or not to shake i.e. the bottle. Within the bottle at the bottom is a 5mm layer of trub. I think its entirely apposite here to shake.
Appearance: Okay, i know its a lager but it looks like a headless hefeweizen. Beware of those in the deep dark woods. Cloudy as all-get-out with a miniscule head. Paper thin. Actually it looks a bit like a Keller.
Aroma:A mild whiff of the sulfur with a sweet malt back-drop. The hops then spring forth.
Taste: A cacophony of mild sulfur and honey with a good dose of hops. Beautifully balanced with a suitable dry finish. There's a funk in there somewhere. Reminiscent of a Keller beer and not unlike heavily hopped Belgian pale ales.
Mouth-feel: Altogether smooth with a slight abrasion on the tongue as it heads to the esophagus.
Drinkability. Extremely drinkable. Extremely.
Overall.: 'Tis a queer beast this one. As all the literature on the labels are in German I have not the faintest what they are teklling me. An adventurous Kolsch indeed. Drink! Drink! Drink!

I couldn't find this beer so I had a chance to put it into the system. I am going to review this beer tonight. I got onto the brewers website they claim that it is a Kolsch but the beer says it is obergarig & naturtrub German style beers.
Poured into a pint glass at 38 degrees.
Appearance: A nice two and half ivory head that has some retention. The body of the beer is a pale straw color and very hazy. There is a lot of partials suspended in the beer. The clarity would be half and half. There is some effervescence in the beer.
Nose: There is a bright floral aroma up front. the malt has a light cracker and toast character. The hops are citrus and grapefruit. There is some some funk aroma.
Taste: The malt is cracker and biscuit characters. The hops is rather light with some floral and citrus flavors. There is some sulfur and mineral flavors in the background.
Overall: The mouth feel of the beer is light, slightly astringent, and smooth crisp edges. The body of the beer is light and the finish is medium. This beer is rather tasty for a kolsch. This is not of my favorite styles but I rather like this one.
