Poured into a balloon glass.
Look: Opaque burnt orange, the head is cream colored, frothy, and leaves thick world map lacing.
Aroma: Heavy wood notes with black peppery hops, very faint dried apricot fruit notes and a bit boozy.
Taste: Thick pine and quite resinous up front. Tropical fruit like pineapple tries to poke through but the thick, bitter hop bill is too strong.
Mouthfeel: Medium to heavy, sticky.
Overall: Kinda all over the place, too boozy and sticky.
