Had on tap at the Pig & fiddle L: A hazy straw pouir into a tulip glass produces a thin white foam cap. S: Faint tequila aromas join fruit, citrus and light funk. T: A big fruit attack – primarily tropical – gets some light wheat support leading to a tart note and some vanilla and pineapple on the finish. F: Light refreshing and effervescent. O: A very welcome summer beer that achieves a nice balance between fruit and tart. The barrel and the tequila are restrained, acting more like a seasoning, but it improves a somewhat boring beer.
