Look: Pours a burnt orange/honey color with a thin but pretty firm head. Nothing special but it’s fine.
Smell: Nice blend of citrus and pine aromas. A bit of a floral pattern as well but no other hints of anything.
Taste: Aggressive bitterness without a full palate of flavors to back it up with. Some hints of pine and citrus as you’d expect, but it’s overpowered by the hops. I don’t have an issue with the bitterness itself, it’s more so that the bitterness is one-dimensional. Also makes this one tougher to drink as time elapsed and the beer warms.
Feel: As stated, this one is pretty tough to enjoy, you feel like you’re more or less throwing it down/fighting the beer. Not nearly enough complexity to this so it feels super heavy
Overall: Not very good, difficult to drink. Missed the mark for me.

LOOK: Pours a hazy orange with a tight large tan head. Head has some excellent retention as well as prominent side glass lace.
AROMA: Kind of a sour citrus aroma. Spicy mild herbal spicy hops and some earthy undertones.
TASTE: Cracker malts, toasted maltiness, and mildly sour, some pine and tart drying floral hops.
Pretty deserving. Would buy again.

Hazy gold with thin head. Moderate smells of pine, floral, citrus with some malt. The flavor is resiny and a little chemically without a lot of other hop character. Grainy malt. Bitter.

Pours a typical orange IPA with very little lacing. Smells more malty than citrusy. Taste falls flat compared to what you expect. Feel is smooth but not in a good way. Overall I suggest you spend your money more wisely.

More bitter than balanced. Made me wish I’d ordered the other ipa. Held strong. Latter half of the beer obliterated taste buds with bitterness. Needed palate cleansing pbr to recover

12 oz. bottle poured into a shaker.
A- Golden in color with good clarity. Head is quite white and keeps well.
S- Tropical and citrus notes. Distinct citra. Toasty grain.
T- Bitter. Flavor of the hops are almost hidden behind the bitterness. Malt is toasty.
M- Body medium-full, almost syrupy. Bitterness carries through to the finish and lingers around.
O- Not great. Bitterness takes over and leaves nothing else to shine. Unbalanced, and rather bland in flavor.

From notes taken 05/03/17:
Golden amber, mostly clear with cream-colored head of consistent, fine, and fluffy foam, with good retention and sudsy lacing. Smells grainy, vegetal, and slightly earthy, not really my style at first but more floral and grassy notes come around soon. Palate, is crackers, biscuits, peanuts, sesame, or something in that general lightly toasty and ready category with faintest tartness in the middle and a soapy, lemon-rindy, and peppery bitter finish. Not a great balance in my opinion. Medium-bodied, watery, with active prickly and yet nearly velvety carbonation.

12 oz. Bottle
Pours a pretty nice slightly hazy dark golden orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, with a nice citrus (lemon) note, slight pine. The taste is not that bad, hoppy, citrusy, slight pine. Medium body, ABV hidden pretty fairly well, with a nice little bitter/dry finish. Overall, a tasty brew.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a golden color with a light haze. Upon pouring there is a small white head of foam that fades relatively quickly and leaves but a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of an herbal hop mixed with some other floral notes. Along with these smells comes some earthy undertones and a little bit of a cracker aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a moderately crisp cracker malt flavor that has a good sum of earth and herb right from the start. These hop flavors get stronger and are joined by a little bit of a vegetal taste as well as some floral hop flavors. Toward the end the cracker and earthy tastes fade a bit leaving one with a rather dank and somewhat dry taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is rather crisp with a carbonation level that is average. A higher carbonation level may have been slightly more appropriate for the dank hop and thinner body, but even said overall it was OK.
Overall – A decent brew for the most part but nothing that blew me away. A fairly crisp and dank IPA overall.
