750ml corked and caged bottle. Bottling date, looks like January 22nd.
Pours a dark brown, initially a 1 " head of off white foam. Pretty decent lacing.
Spicy nose from the Chai, insinuating the use of nutmeg but I know it comes from tea as I have had that before. Still, it's tricky.
Lovely spicy taste again, reminiscent of nutmeg and maybe I'll just give it even odds between that and Chai tea. A nice drop to enjoy during THE holiday season, imho.
Medium descibes the body and carbonation.
A good spiced Brown Ale overall but I am not sure if I would buy it again.
