750ml bottle bottled April 15th. Complete with cork and cage.

It pours a pale and hazy light gold with excellent head of foam that settles to aboot an inch. Looks like it's going to stay that way.

The nose brings heaps of honey, only hints of jalapeño spice and hops.

Whoah Nelly. Taste does not follow the nose. It starts off on the sort of dank side, honey sweetness moves in then. ..BAM! A full onslaught of seemingly endless jalapeños spice and burn. The heat lasts long after the swallow. Oh my.

Medium body with sort of lightish carbonation.

Good thing I am used to and enjoy spicy peppers or this would be a no go. It might wear on my palate further into the session though.

This beer. Not for the timid.

Tasted this at the Edwards, CO tasting room. Crazy Mountain makes very good beers and has a good range of styles. That said, this jalapeño IPA is not for the faint-hearted. Amber colored with some spice on the nose. Very strong jalapeño spice/heat on the palate. If you like a chili-focused beer, you'll love this brew. Glad I tried it, but I would not enjoy even half a pint
