Brown body with a one-finger thick, creamy head. Nutty, earthy aroma; roasted grains. Creamy, malted flavor with a brusque, almost acrid, bitterness; tannins. Medium body; smooth and creamy; semi-sweet finish.
An okay brown ale overall although the hemp seed adds an odd, slightly off-putting twist to things. An edge of too much acrid flavor seems to overtake an otherwise solid brown ale base. Again, a decent beer, just not that awesome.
