Presentation: 12 oz. bottle with no dates. Served in a Teku.
Appearance: The one finger head goes away fairly quickly and leaves behind a lot of patchy lacing all over the glass. It's a clear, bright, light copper color.
Smell: It's a strong aroma of fresh grapefruit juice and that's pretty much it. One dimensional but very pleasant.
Taste: It's juicy and fruity with a strong, fresh grapefruit pulp note up front. That's followed up by some lemon and orange. There's a lot of citrus but the acidity never gets out of control. A hint of bitterness hugs the edges of the palate as it goes down but it's barely there.
Mouthfeel: It's quite light and refreshing with medium carbonation.
Overall: A very good beer that leans heavily on the grapefruit aroma and taste. How much you enjoy this beer depends on how much of a fan you are of the fruit.
