Poured into a cervoise glass.
Look: Clear golden body under an off-white head that recedes to a film and collar, with fairly decent random squiggles of lacing.
Aroma: Soft bubblegum notes, light juniper berries, as well as clove, banana, white pepper.
Taste: Opens up with very soft bubblegum then transitions into dry hay, light citric tanginess, and a bit more of a spicy hop, peppery finish.
Mouthfeel: Light and dry.
Overall: Taste and aroma are mostly the same, it’s pretty spicy overall, but in a white pepper kind of way.

Look: gorgeous brew, nice golden color with a billowing off white head and tons of lacing
Smell: malts and spicy yeasts predominate, some faint floral notes, not bad
Taste: Belgian yeast breadiness with some candy sugar, wheat and floral spice
Feel: creamy, a bit thin, could perhaps use a touch more carbonation
Overall: it's growing on me as I drink it but I'm still not digging this beer, especially after getting my hopes up since it looks so great, hard to pinpoint what I'm not liking but it's just not working for me, seems unbalanced. Not a terrible beer but I won't revisit.

12oz single bottle - no description for 'Luther' on the label, but he appears to be a combination of man, badger, and hawk.
This beer pours a clear, medium golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and somewhat creamy off-white head, which leaves some streaky and chunky lace around the glass as it slowly ebbs out of sight.
It smells of bready and doughy pale malt, Belgian yeast, a lesser cereal wheatiness, free-agent candi sugar, ethereal ground black pepper, and some mild earthy, leafy, and floral hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, wet wheat crackers, a soft earthy berry fruit note, sort of acrid and estery yeast, muted rainbow peppercorn spice, and more tame leafy, weedy, and slightly perfumed floral verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is adequate in its palate-coddling frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and mostly smooth, but for a bit of yeasty intransigence hanging about, looking to make a fuss. It finishes trending dry, the malt bottoming out, while the yeast and spice hold 'er straight between the ditches.
Overall, this is a fairly representative version of the purported style, with the yeast, spice, and alcohol all meted out in the appropriate manner. What isn't so judicious is the supposed juniper berry component, which merely comes across as a meek, generic fruitiness. Not great, but worthy of a go if you're into this type of thing.

No indication of date of brewing or freshness on the bottle. No way to know if this is 1 or 12 months old.
Nondescript aroma of light corn, ethanol, slight ripe fruit basket, and hint of grain.
The flavor is driven by a moderately bitter grainy quality paired with yeasty dough. There is more bitterness and less spice than I would expect from a beer "Belgian style ale" in the title. There is almost no hop flavor, so the bitterness is unexplained and feels out of place. I don't taste juniper (but I want to!).
Conclusion: A little odd and totally forgettable. I always want to praise beer from my home state, but this is more what I would expect from a newer homebrewer who has talent but not experience. It is just fine, but could be so much better.
Here is my issue: My state (Colorado) and much of the US is absolutely jam-packed with incredible quality beers coming from countless craft brewers. There is no longer shelf/tap space for "pretty good" beer; the competition is simply too great. Considering there are hundreds of mind-bendingly amazing beers left to try just from breweries within 100 miles of my house, I will never seek this out again... I believe that the time has come to no longer accept anything less than amazing beer, as the industry can (finally) actually support that kind of standard!

Pours a hazy straw gold with an inch of foam after settling down.
Smells fruity with notes of candi sugar, wheat, and pepper. It has some tartness.
Peppery, a candi sugar sweetness, fruity like the rind of oranges, a bit tart. Not bad.
Light bodied with light carbonation.
Overall, an enjoyable beer.

A rich golden color but slightly cloudy, aroma warns of sour overtones, the taste is initially bitter but turns more floral as it settles on the lounge, thin bubbly texture. A very solid Belgian style ale overall
