Our newest Hazy IPA, “Liquid Sunshine” is inspired by one of my many trips to South Korea where not so strangely many of the craft brewers are from either Australia or New Zealand. And this is where I was first introduced to and fell in love with Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin hops. Galaxy hops from Australia are often described as having a strong passion fruit aroma
and flavor as well as blasts of clean citrus and peach. Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand include distinctive white wine character along with fruity flavors, such as fresh crushed gooseberry and grape. When the two are combined, it’s like liquid sunshine in a glass.
