Right when you pour the thang there is a bit of a letdown. It may not be Sex in the City Two bad (which I only know offhand from hearing about it on the grape vine), but it’s more like, I dunno, Saved by the Bell the College Years. Zack definitely lost some edge, but it was still palatable enough. And right here in Refresh, it’s something that your boy would swallow, but, well… we’ll just keep it at that.

On tap at Highland Park Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.

Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, grass, and fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with grass and fruit flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty, light, and easy to drink.
