On tap at Highland Park Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
Described as Vacation with grapefruit and sage.
Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, citrus fruit, grapefruit juice, and slight sage aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and slight sage flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth and hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice balance of grapefruit and sage with the base beer.
