Coffee is dominant on the nose and taste. Maybe if you swish it around in your mouth you'll get some lavender. I would like a little more body- as it is now it drinks like a carbonated cold brew coffee.

On tap at Highland Park Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
Described as Wake Up with lavender.
Pours an almost opaque super dark brown with a foamy khaki head that fades to nothing. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa, coffee bean, and lavender aromas. Taste is much the same with cocoa, coffee bean, and lavender flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of roast and floral bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a lavender addition that adds a nice floral quality all around.
