375ml bottle into a snifter appears a hazy pale yellow color with a white cap that is quick to fade.
Smells lemony and earthen with slight brett/wood funky and cereal grain to greek yogurt across the nose. As it breathes it has a bit of spoiled grain character but its not distracting in the least.
The taste is lemony tart with faint grain sweetness. A yogurt feel towards the back.
Light in body, crisp and crushable a solid take on the style. I could drink this by the gallon which is what berliners are suppose to be like in my opinion. Id love to drink this again. Well done.

- 4oz. pour off tap into flight glass at Haven (Orange, CA) on 14-Jan-16
Lemon grass and grapefruit zest with some barnyard funk. Overall, quite nice especially on a hot day (kinda sucked that it was cold outside).

Bottle.
A: Lemon, citrus aroma, followed by lacto sourness and light breadiness.
A: Light straw colored, quite hazy with a thin amount of head that quickly dissipated.
T: Clean, lemon citrus flavor, followed by moderate lacto sourness and very light breadiness.
M: Light bodied with moderate carbonation. The beer is well attenuated and quite refreshing.
O: Pretty tasty; the Berliner has a nice clean citrus, lemon aroma and flavor that works well with the moderate lacto sourness.

500 ml bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a foamy white/off-white head that leaves a minimal amount of lacing. Aroma is sour and wheat. Taste follows suit with a touch of lemon. Tart, refreshing, and delicious.

500 mL bottle. Pale yellow with a bit of haze. Smell is oak, wheat, lemon acidity. I think I even get some red wine. Nice. Taste is wheat and lemon. Gets more complex after the initial flavors. Red wine comes out. Oak. Even better than the smell. Light body. Medium carbonation. A very pleasant and flavorful berliner.
