On nitro tap at Highland Park Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a clear reddish-orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, roasted nut, and caramel aromas. Taste is much the same with sweet toast, caramel, and nut flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a smooth, creamy, and slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty, but it is a bit too sweet in my opinion.
Serving type: on nitro tap.
