500 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Bright red body. Small white head. Lemon acidity. Lots of wheat. Tart cherry aroma. Smells really nice. Lemon sourness that quickly gets taken over by sour cherry. Very juicy cherry flavor. Wheat graininess builds into the finish. Light body. Pleasantly sour. Light and easy drinking. Impressive.

Beautiful dark red / black hue - like burnished cherry skin. Aroma is cherry juice, a little sharpness from acidity, slight cinnamon bark. Flavor follows, bumping up that cinnamon. Medium high acidity but never clenching the glands and becoming unpleasant.
Basically, this is the best cherry juice you've ever had.

I really dig this, not the super tart gleeky sourness you might expect but a rather mellow, soft feel with plenty of cherry and just the right amount of funk. This pours a really pretty rich purple/red with little foam. Smells really rich with cherry funk, and tastes great. again, soft mouthfeel is really welcomed for me, very refreshing and drinkable. the cherry flavor does not remind me of childhood medicine which is a definite plus (as many cherry sours do). Good beer!

500ml bottle poured into a HF glass.
Look: Beautiful bright ruby red with minimal head that quickly dissipates to nothing. No lacing was evident even after two pours.
Smell: Sour cherry, lemon and a just a hint of funk hidden in the background.
Taste: The sour cherry dominates with a bit of citric acid and passion fruit. Surprised to find little to no funk.
Feel: Light (slightly watery) with minimal carbonation
Overall: I enjoyed it, but found it to be a bit one note. All sour cherry with not much else to add complexity. It's a great easy supper on a Wednesday work night though. I'm curious to try the base beer soon to compare.
