This Brandy barrel aged edition of our DontDrinkBeers Barleywine collaboration came from our favorite barrel during our tasting prior to bottling. Taking Donations was brewed as an English Barleywine with Simpsons Maris Otter and Crystal Malts and traditional English Fuggles hops then aged for 15 months in Brandy Barrels. Taking Donations (Brandy Single Barrel Select) is identified with Dark Red Wax.

Infection is creeping in. Not as bad as the bourbon yet but on the downhill slide. Bummer because you can tell this was a very good beer once upon a time.
