To celebrate in true birthday fashion we decided to select a few favorite barrels from our cellar and blend a 5 year anniversary beer. Taking inspiration from a birthday cake, we chose some stout and strong ale barrels and added lactose, almond, vanilla, and cinnamon to make this beer the perfect birthday treat. High 5 Blend is an expression of decadence with booze drenched layers of burnt sugar, toasted vanilla, snickerdoodle cookies, and late night cordials.

Deep dark brown where no
Berry sweetness with cognac like alcohol. Much closer to a barley wine than a stout.
Very, very rich body and flavor. Definitely, an after-dinner drink beer. Lots of alcohol warmth. Strong brandy finish and aftertaste. Very low carbonation.
