Coco Guava Wham is a 7%ABV IPA that uses the Coco Wham base but then we kicked it up a notch by adding guava! Pouring with a slight haze and a fluffy foam head, this beer explodes with aromas of coconut & guava (duh). You’ll also get lots of grapefruit, bright tropical aromas, tangelo, & pomelo with this beer.

Lightly hazy yellow pour with a white cap. Smell captures the tropical beach impression more than the rest of the beer with the coconut and guava making their entrance quickly, grapefruit, lemon pith, and harsh piney hops collide in. Taste is even more collision, guava is mia, coconut is taken to be very bitter with the harsh pine hops as the main driving force of the taste besides herbal citrus. Feel is starts hazy but quickly is reveled to be a green hopped dipa, just doesn't come together as it should.

Brew #5 from the Hop Culture Juicy Brews box, a 16oz can poured into a pint nonic.
A: Moderately hazed straw-gold with some fluffy off-white head.
S: Lots of coconut and grapefruit, with some other tropical fruits, lemon.
T: Zingy and earthy, with that present grapefruit and mild lemon character, and plenty of savory, almost-toasted coconut, leading to a vanilla-esque vibe. Mild citrus pith, earthy sweetness.
MF: Creamy medium body with low bitterness.
O: Had higher hopes for this one, it really doesn't come together for my palate. The coconut is just off somehow, or at least it just wasn't what I was expecting. Has the elements to be really good, but just doesn't get there for me.

Lightly hazy straw yellow with a short airy foam head that settles to a spongy blanket with a bubbly ridge.
IPA flavors come first with lightly spicy evergreen, but that's quickly beach-ified by a soft coconut presence that's lightly toasted, before swerving back into a citrus element. There's not much guava to be detected, however it may be providing a slight strawberry note that's a little medicinal.
The medium-light body has an airy feel to it, and finishes semi-dry.
