Highland Park Griffith J. Griffith with Trystero Coffee Imperial Stout, 13.5% ABV. Pours thick and black with a ring of light-brown bubbles that left light lacing. Aroma is strong coffee. Taste follows, plus fruit and chocolate, quite sweet, moderately bitter. Excellent thick mouthfeel, overall outstanding. Could drink these all day, but at 13.5% ABV it would be a short day.

12oz courtesy of @Beersnake (received in the Barleywine/Stout BIF #2)
Poured into an Imprint Belgian-style tulip
P black w/ a small tan cap
N fairly soft but pleasant; vanilla/cream
T smooth and sweet, yet bright coffee, cream, and toffee/caramel; not the typical roasty chocolate imp stout; some citrus in there; light milk choc beneath; sweet and satisfying profile; unique and definitely diggable
Mf med bodied w/ med to med-high carb; light-moderately creamy; velvety smooth; a bit dry in the fin
O a unique and really pleasant imperial coffee stout; love the bright coffee notes; abv is well hidden; great stuff!
