This year's blend combines the old school and new school stout styles in a way that accentuates the strengths of both. High 7 is made up of a blend of 3 different stouts, one aged in Woodford Reserve for 15 months, one aged in Heaven Hill for 26 months, and one aged in a Tawny Port barrel for 10 months.
Keeping one big foot in the new school, the stout drinks decadent, yet balanced, with its bold sweetness restrained by flavors of black cherry and dark chocolate syrup.
