Pours a golden amber wit plenty of foam in the chalice. Very prickly on the tongue with a sturdy malty body. Taste is distinctive, to say the least-- big blueberry and grape jam. Rather sweet with an aromatic jammy note. There's an acidic finish with a winey grape juice taste and canned peaches. This is quite flavorful, in a random way. I would say it's almost entirely unlike any kind of PIlsner, but for a strong Lager it's a new kind of Malt Liquor. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea's Brewing. Dated 11/21/23.
