Poured at fridge temp. Pours a super thick black with almost zero head. The nose is fantastic. Huge notes of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, rye, spice, dark fruit, oatmeal with brown sugar, and maybe a hint of coffee. Super intense.
The taste is roasty, barrel-heavy, chocolate, burnt toffee, vanilla, molasses, pudding, and a hint of plum jam. Such a great stout. Amazing that this doesn't have any adjuncts. Such amazing flavors from the barrels.
Mouthfeel is thick and creamy, with an aftertaste of bourbon and toffee.
