Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a golden amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades quite quickly, leaving a touch of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a caramel sweet small mixed with notes of corn and a bit of bread. Along with these comes a bit of hay and notes of toffee.
Taste – The taste begins with a light grain and cracker malt flavor mixed with some caramel and a corn sweetness. There is also a very light level of earthiness in there as well, adding a very subtle backflavor. As the taste advances the sweetness fades a touch all while there is a note of floral hop, leaving one with a lightly bittered and crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is light with a moderate level of carbonation.
Overall – A rather lightly bittered bitter ale. Pretty easy drinking overall.
